INVESTING IN ANGOLA
The Presidential Decree 181/15, of September 30, embodies the Main Outlines of the Private Investment National Policy, structuring the mains guidelines, namely the objectives and the role of the State and the several parties involved in the National Private Investment. From an operational point of view, the Procedure Regulation regarding Private Investments was also approved – the Presidential Decree # 182/15, which focuses on the procedural dimension of the Private Investment. Angola recognizes the predominant role of the Private Investor, and focuses on its strengthening as a fundamental pillar of the Economy. In order to revitalize and stimulate that pillar, Angola has optimized the legal basis within this scope in 2015.

In addition, the State has absolute discretion over some sectors which are considered strategic, namely the Production and Trade of Military Equipment, the Central Banking, Seaports and Airports, basic infrastructure for all national telecommunications network.
